How much will I ACTUALLY save in agents fees by selling my own property?
1. Can I sell my own house?
– YES, you can absolutely sell your own house. With a little bit of know how it can be very successful. That’s where we come in to give you the tools and tricks of the trade, while supporting you through it.
2. Do I need a Real Estate license to sell my house?
– NO, you do not need a license to sell your own home.
3. Do I have to do a course or study to sell my house?
– NO, there is no legal requirement to study or do a course to sell your property. We’ve done that for you!
4. I’m no good at computers and technology is this going to be an issue?
– ABSOLUTELY NOT. We will show you everything you need to know on your device and you have our support and step by step instructions.
5. What if it becomes too overwhelming and I change my mind?
– NO PROBLEMS, that’s perfectly normal for new ventures and experiences, we will guide you every step of the way and if you no longer want to sell yourself, we are here to help with that too. If you choose not to manage your own property, we will put you in touch with someone in your area who can do this or even co host with you to take some pressure off.
6. Do you charge Agents Commission Fees?
– NO, NO and NO. We are not working with you as an agent. We are consulting with you to empower you to do it yourself and give you the freedom to be creative. We offer different levels of support and in turn different packages to suit your needs and budget. We do this for a fraction of the cost of agents fees and commissions.
7. If your licensed agents why would you want to teach us and lose money yourself?
– GREAT QUESTION! Because we care and see a huge gap where people want to sell for their many different reasons. We will not have the same overhead expenses, travel, staff etc, so this keeps our consulting affordable. As an agent we actually feel very privileged to be chosen to turn the pages to your next chapter. We can still enjoy this journey in a similar way and do what we love best. We’ve seen lots of people attempt to sell their own homes with no knowledge or know how and not succeed. This is another huge gap in the market….if these people had the knowledge and tools from the get go, they would have succeeded and would not be out of pocket for trying to do it and agents fees to sell after their attempt.
8. Are your costs a tax deduction?
– YES and NO.
Short term, holiday or rental owners can include our costs as a tax deduction because they get an income from these investment forms. If you sell your property and the funds from sale are now an “income” again, it’s possible. If you sell and purchase another property with funds its highly unlikely you can claim as a tax deduction. BUT as always speak to your accountant or financial advisor, we do not offer legal advice and you must do your DUE DILLIGENCE.
